She’s risen from Australian television actor to Oscar nominee in just a few years. Margot Robbie’s horoscope features something that helps make this journey possible.
We don’t know her birth time. But we do know Margot Robbie was born July 2nd, 1990 in Dalby, Queensland. Below is her horoscope (aka ‘chart’) for noon on that day.
Two horoscope features stand out. One is a powerful T-Square. The other is a Sun-Mercury conjunction opposite Uranus.
T-Square pattern: Saturn, Jupiter, Mars.
This is powerful. It boosts Robbie’s ambitions and ability to ‘get things done.’
This is reflected in an interview she gave:
Margot’s tenacity was a driving force [Mars] growing up in Queensland … “If I wanted to do something [Mars], I would just make it happen,” she says with a look of steely resolve in her blue eyes. “If I wanted to go to a friend’s house, but I knew mum wasn’t at home for another couple of hours, I’d look up the bus timetable and catch three buses to my friend’s house.”
The horoscope recipient of this power is Mars. Which is the planet of drive, force, willpower and action. Robbie’s Mars is in a sign it rules, Aries. This is an assertive planet in an assertive sign. It means that whatever she does (Mars), will be direct, to the point, and action-oriented.
With plenty of support from Jupiter and Saturn.
Jupiter and Saturn influence her Mars. They make up the cross-beam of the T-Square pattern. Both are in signs they rule or are exalted in.
Her Jupiter is exalted in Cancer, and Robbie’s Saturn is a sign it rules, Capricorn. Jupiter and Saturn are opposite each other (purple arrows). They form square aspects (Jupiter the green arrow, Saturn the orange) to her Aries Mars.
This T-Square is like having two really good life coaches at your disposal. They guide and direct what your actions (Mars).
One coach is enthusiasm, expansion, optimism (Jupiter). The other is pragmatic, disciplined, responsible (Saturn). Robbie’s actions are informed by both in equal measure as part of the T-Square.
The fact that all three planets are ‘essentially strong’ (in signs they rule or are exalted in) means ‘quality’ coaches. Ones who will express the best side of their planetary natures.
Another factor is that Mars is the only fire sign planet in Margot Robbie’s horoscope.
Most of her planets are in earth and water signs. This indicates a mostly yin/feminine energy overall. One that fiery Mars complements, and it is through her ‘actions’ (or acting?) that Robbie balances her horoscope’s elemental energies.
Sun-Mercury conjunction, opposite Uranus.
Just like Robin Williams, who I wrote about last week, Robbie has a T-Square, and a Sun-Mercury conjunction. Her Sun-Mercury conjunction in Cancer is shown by the blue oval, below. This indicates what she says and thinks (Mercury) is combined with her identity and self (Sun). What she says about herself is likely to be true.
And Sun and Mercury combine in a Cancerian way – empathetic, emotionally-driven. Which is a great combination for an actor.
Her Mercury-Sun conjunction forms an opposition aspect (about 180°) to her Uranus in Capricorn.
Uranus adds eccentricity, novelty and unpredictability to Robbie’s identity and communication. So she can switch thinking, roles, identity – as the situation dictates. Others may find her inconsistent. Or see this diversity as charming, refreshing and unique.
Life event: The Wolf of Wall Street
Robbie’s role in the Martin Scorsese movie, The Wolf of Wall Street, catapaulted her career. She received critical acclaim for her role in the movie which was released on Christmas Day, 2015.
Margot Robbie’s horoscope (inner circle), Solar Arc Directions (SADs) and transits for that day are shown below. This is the 90° degree dial system. It displays all conjunctions, squares and oppositions – as conjunctions. This makes key aspects easy to identify.
We can see that around this time SAD Mars and Saturn were aspecting Pluto (purple oval, above) in Margot Robbie’s horoscope. This connects her will (Mars) and structure (Saturn) to the planet of transformation, Pluto.
Given the career ascendancy that followed, it correlates well with this planetary combination.
Life event: marriage
Robbie married Tom Ackerley on December 19th, 2016. Using the same 90° degree dial for this event shows Jupiter connecting with her Pluto. Jupiter being the other part of of the T-Square alongside Mars and Jupiter.
Jupiter is about optimism and hope, and this is a time in Robbie’s life with considerable and intense enthusiasm and opportunity.
Margot Robbie’s horoscope: summary
Without a birth time, there’s not a great deal we can say. But there is, oddly, similarities to Robin Williams’ horoscope. The T-Square and Sun-Mercury conjunction dominate.
Her T-Square is fortunate to have all three planets involved in signs they feel ‘at home’ in.
Margot Robbie’s horoscope portrays her as a quirky, yet empathetic. Someone with a lot of drive, and the ability to ‘get things done’, with an assertive Mars backed up by two quality coaches in Jupiter and Saturn. Which on the one hand helps her to take up opportunities (Jupiter) and also to ensure decisions are realistic (Saturn).

I like how your “roadmap” leads you to saying general things about a person that classic cold readers use to flesh out details. She’s “quirky and driven” is something that could apply to literally anyone.
You’re not doing science. You’re playing with a toy and saying generic complimentary things.

Thanks for your comment.
Astrology is hardly a ‘toy’ – it has been practiced across many cultures for thousands of years. And it has been taken seriously by some of the wisest people throughout history. Jung, Kepler, Newton, Paracelsus, etc.
I don’t know Margot Robbie, so there is a limit to what can be said about a person. And in this case even less, because we don’t know her actual birth time. Knowing the birth time can add detail to the analysis. But if you look throughout this site you will see statements about people that go beyond ‘mere chance’.
Btw, I don’t pretend to be ‘doing science’. Astrology is not a science, or a pseudoscience – in the modern rationalist sense of ‘science’. It is an ‘art’, a language, a way of describing human psychology.
I don’t always say ‘complimentary things’ – take a look at my piece on Harvey Weinstein for instance. Or Adolf Hitler. If you want to associate it with a science, the ‘soft sciences’ like MBTI, economics, psychology are the most similar.
